Sasquatch Mountain: Hemlock Valley

Directions: Make your way to Harrison and up Hemlock Valley Road. Keep in mind you will need a good vehicle to get up the road, a 4x4 is recommended. The Ministry of Transportation requires you to carry chains in your vehicle even if you have snow tires on. If you don't have these items you can take the shuttle up. Trail: We SS'd the Base Area Loop. Heading north east toward the tubing park. Passing the park head down the FSR. You’ll see two paths one stays on the road the other goes through the trees. Soon you are on Laurel place and hemlock valley rd. cross the here. A path on the right comes into view. Start walking here and it branches in with the road. The trail loops and crosses Mt. Downing Rd and carries on up. Once you’re finished at the Hemlock Hollow head to the left side of road where the trail picks up again. Keep going as the chalet comes into view. Make your way along and up the steep wide trail back to where you were earlier that day.
If you're in the mood you can do a little tubing ($21 pp February 2019) or try another trail. When you're done for the day step into the pub for a tasty meal and a beverage or the cafeteria for a snack..
