It has been cleared as of June 2016 however, there is not a bridge at the creek crossing. Most people should be able to cross without getting your feet wet depending on the water level.
Start your hike crossing a small bridge made of timber. As you snake up the dirt pathway the trail turns into an archway of green leafy trees. After about a 100 meters a boardwalk appears as it snakes its way around a swamp. here are a few sections here where you may have to step into the mud for a few steps but shortly after the boardwalk picks up again. Once again you are in a snaky rooty trail covered in bush.
Soon you hear the sounds of a rushing creek. The crossing is the only part of the trail that hasn't been updated (July 2016). You can get across buy it's a little tricky. Once across the trail starts to climb as you gain your elevation here. You'll have to navigate some dead-fall as you walk through tall timber which is like an enchanted forest. The creek rushes far below. There's a smaller creek crossing with a log. It's very easy to cross this. Soon the camp appears. There's two picnic tables, fire pit, bench and a pit toilet. Head out on the trail to see Little Douglas Lake. If you walk to the right there's a sandy beach not far away.
