Go Through the black gates and take the first right. Follow left to an orange arrow and go left. Descend to a bridge. Cross a couple of funky log crossings. You'll go up some beaten stairs and to a new fun bridge over a soothing creek. Go down a wide road. Keep going along a flat Mill Stream trail for quite a long time and through a black gate and cross another bridge.
Finally on your left is a marked trail to Bayden Powell trail Skyline Trail. Then pass through another black gate. Keep going up this wide road ignoring the side trails on the way up. Now follow BP (Bayden Powell) trail. As you go into the forest, a cross over trail greets
you. Follow it to the right. Continue along the BP Trail.
Soon you'll come to the cross over trail. Go straight. Finally a junction to Blue Gentian Lake Trail, go right. Walk along the board walks and see the lake. A junction comes into view part way along the boardwalk, turn left. Right away another junction, go left.
Now it’s a rooty, rocky and muddy section. Soon you come to a T, go right and over a bridge. Soon after another T, go right to see lake. Once finished go back to the T and carry on up the ski run. Just a little more elevation… Sign post continue on right BP trail. Carry on past some cabins and to First Lake. Girl Guide info from 1925 line the bridge of memories past. Go left after bridge and carry on along the BP trail. Walk past Boy Scouts cabin. Carry on past the arrow sign and keep going down. Once at the rocky path go left. Go
right down road and keep going. A trail appears on the left.
Your final descent down is a steep slippery rocky rooty bike trail back to the start of the trail. Be careful here as it’s easy to loose your footing and slip. Also watch for mountain bikers. Happy & safe trails.
