Loop Trail: From the parking area follow the trail down a hill as it snakes along. The trail is flat then you come to a SP. You are now on the Loop Trail.. Go whichever way you feel like. Left takes you up a couple of hill or right take you up some smaller hills and then down two big hills. Follow the trail up and down as you loop along the mountain side. You’ll come to a fork. If you go left it’s the Meadow Trail (a short cut) and if go right it continues along the Loop Trail. Walk the grassy trail as another Y comes up. Go left to the Pond Connector or stay right to carry along the Loop Trail. Then up a mini hill to another SP. go left to the parking lot. Another branch, the pond connector or the parking lot. Another branch. You choose your destination or sit in the meadows and enjoy the quiet beauty. Two steep climbs down both short to where you were earlier at the start of the Loop Trail Then up the hill to the parking lot. It's really great little area. On a Sunday afternoon with blue skies but a November chill in the air there was only one other person on the trail.
View Point Trail: Follow the gravel road past the gate. After 100 meters or so there's a SP and a trail on the left. Follow the dirt path up. Follow the wooden stairs up and dirt steep path. The trail snakes along dirt path as it skirts the hilltop. Then there's several nature made rock stairs to the viewpoint. Here it tells you the beautiful names of the peaks that almost make you bow to their beauty. Once you are fulfilled with the views follow the trail back the way you came and back to the parking lot.
Note:There's gated areas in this park that are private property. To keep the public able to visit this beauty please stay on the Regional Park land and pick up after your pets.
Happy & safe trails.
