Are your vitamins being absorbed? Do the test!
If you take your vitamins and they come out fully formed in your waste what is the point in spending all that money and taking them to begin with. I believe in spending a little more on good quality vitamins that are being absorbed in my body. Follow these steps to see if your current vitamins are being absorbed in your body:
1) Pour half a cup of white vinegar into a glass and drop a vitamin tablet into the glass. The ...acidity of the vinegar mimics how your stomach would digest the vitamin. 2) Check to see how long the vitamin takes to dissolve. If the vitamin is not dissolving in the glass of vinegar, then it's probably not going to dissolve in your stomach, either. Quality vitamins usually begin breaking down almost immediately and finish breaking down within 30 to 45 minutes. 3) Check to see if dirt is floating on top of the vinegar, or if there is some gritty substance on the bottom of the glass. If there is dirt floating on top, it means the vitamin's manufacturer is using sawdust as a filler. Grit on the bottom of the glass means the vitamin's manufacturer is using sand as a filler. Neither of these is a good sign.
This is Usana's multi vitamin after 4 minutes and Usana passed the test in the end. Check your vitamins to make sure they are doing your body justice.
Since I have been taking good quality vitamins my knee pain is gone, most days my menopause symptoms are invisible, I sleep well and overall feel great. There is no way we can get all the vitamins and nutrients our bodies need to keep us well going strong.
Do the test today and see if your vitamins are giving your body what it needs and if not make a switch.
